Atriplex glabriuscula
Ecology
A procumbent annual found close to the strand-line on moderately exposed sand and shingle beaches, and in waste places near the sea. Lowland.
Status
Trends
It is difficult to interpret trends in the distribution of this species. A. glabriuscula is difficult to identify and is more comprehensively recorded in some areas than others. Some old records are probably unreliable due to confusion with other coastal Atriplex taxa, especially A. x taschereaui (A. glabriuscula x A. longipes) and A. prostrata.
World Distribution
Suboceanic Boreo-temperate element; also in N. America.
