Trends
L. pelisseriana was first cultivated in Britain in 1640. It was recorded from the wild in Jersey in 1837, where it was seen sporadically at scattered localities until 1955. It is often regarded as a native to the island, but its history suggests that it is more likely to be an alien. It is only casual elsewhere.
