Limonium britannicum subsp. coombense
A perennial herb of coastal rocks and sea-cliffs, especially favouring S.-facing cliffs of Quaternary head deposits of unconsolidated sand and rock fragments. Lowland.
Another taxon not recognised at the time of the 1962 Atlas, and difficult to distinguish in the field from other L. britannicum subspecies in S. W. England (subsp. britannicum and subsp. transcanalis). There is no evidence of any populations having been lost since it was first described in 1986.
